Vivek is an early-stage venture capital investor at Mayfield and experienced product leader in next-generation enterprise application and infrastructure technologies. He brings deep commercial and open-source product management experience from companies such as Docker, VMware and Amazon. Vivek launched Docker’s primary enterprise product and steered it through advancements in container orchestration, networking, storage, and security. Prior to that he helped launch the Cloud Native Applications Storage initiative at VMware and Elastic Block Store snapshot features at AWS, and in a previous life was an engineer at both startups and big companies. Vivek received his BS and MS in engineering as well as his MBA from Stanford University.
