Melissa Casburn is a Principal User Experience Designer at Puppet, focused on design strategy & process, user research, and information architecture. Prior to joining Puppet 5 years ago, she had 10 years of UX experience spanning many industries and interests including life sciences, education, car sharing, fashion, and fitness. She is deeply invested in and experienced at applying UX practices in direct support of business goals.

Melissa co-founded the Portland chapter of the UX Book Club, served as a co-lead for the Portland chapter of the Interaction Design Association (IxDA), and has spoken about design at WebVisions, The Gilbane Conference, and The Delight Summit.
