Kilton started programming computers when he was 8 years old. He started a software company a few years later. The world is very different than it was back then, but Kilton is still bringing new technologies to life. Kilton is the co-founder and CEO of Edgeworx, a startup that provides enterprise-scale edge computing. He is the creator of the Eclipse ioFog open-source edge computing technology and is the chair of the Edge-Native Working Group at the Eclipse Foundation. He is a former IoT adviser to the City of San Francisco and recently served as IoT program director for the Level program at Northeastern University. Kilton lives in Berkeley, California. He received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2010.
