Hylton van Zyl is a Technology Partnership Development (TPD) executive within the Global Technology& Operations division. In his role, Hylton is responsible for finding emerging technology solutions that can lower cost, reduce risk and increase capabilities for Bank of America. As part of this effort, he is responsible for influencing the Bank’s technology strategy, its expertise and its relationships for business development efforts with the firm’s Investment Banking and Institutional Equities divisions as well as the venture capital community. Hylton joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2014 with more than 20 years experience in financial services IT. Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Hylton held similar technology partnership and strategy positions at JPMorgan Chase and R&D at Credit Suisse. Before moving into a Technology Partnership roles Hylton has worked across Engineering and Operational management positions both in the US and abroad.
